Behind the scenes at our Spring/Summer 22 photoshoot

Lately, we have started to get those glimpses of spring, with those sunny (but still crisp) days, some blue sky, and blossom on the trees. This was our sign to give the website a refresh with some spring/summer updates to help match your wardrobe to the SS22 season.

Although we have spoken a lot about eco shopping and the significance of scaling down on our fashion spending, it is still important to keep some key fashion staples in our wardrobes for each season. The best are of course those made from quality fibres that will last more than just the one-year. One of our most versatile fabrics is the our cotton-cashmere blend, keeping you cool and comfortable as the weather warms up. So, these were of course part of our SS22 shoot, ready for the restock of our website. We hope that these help you to build your spring summer staples for this year and beyond.

We had a lot of fun in our London studio with our trusted photographer, Paul and the team at 3Objectives; our amazing hair and make-up artist, Caroline Piasecki; and our model agency, Base Models UK, who we have worked with since launching Linea Azzurro in October 2020. Behind the scenes we were able to create some new imagery that show fresh ways to style some of our favourites and, of course, no spring summer collection is complete without a pair of shades. We think Elena Prodan looks great in these.

In our Cashmere collection we also re-shot and restocked, our 100% Cashmere Fuchsia Crew Neck, and launched a brand new men’s item, a full zip rib jacket in Cashmere Merino Marine blue; a perfect men’s staple for the SS22 season.

In the next few weeks, we also have some more exiting new items to feature on our website and some other great news to share, including the launch of our 100% Pima Cotton Women’s range in three new styles : boat neck, short sleeve V-neck and long sleeve V-neck in some fresh vibrant colours for the season.

What we love about Pima Cotton is that it’s an ultra-soft fabric containing long Cotton fibres, which accounts for its incredible softness and richness of texture. Unlike other sensitive fabrics, Pima Cotton can be machine washed and is more resistant to pilling – the appearance of tiny balls of tangled fibre after several washes. The long fibres of Pima Cotton are what support its resistance to pilling, making sure garments stay wearable and looking new for many more years.
